    Very soft light, with good exposure, like the shadow,catchlight, clean beach.

    Denise, Great shot, love the beach and that awesome shadow. I find the bird a bit drab against the BG - maybe a little contrast tweek might get it to stand out more but it coul dbe my monitor, I'm looking at it in work and don't have a calibrated monitor here.

    I agree with Michael about a slight contrast boost, or at the very least darkening the darks, or a midtones adjustment. Awesome clean beach. Judging from the shadow you pointed yours perfectly towards this guy :-)..

    I've got to make it down to Nickerson one of these days...perhaps next year!!

    Soft light, nice sand, and good sharpness. Another vote for a bit more contrast.

    Gotta love the soft light. shadow gives the image some needed depth. I think more contrast would take away from the soft feel it has.
