Another image from my Pribilof workshop. We had clear skies the first evening we went and I managed to get some action shots with the available light. This bird had just launched from a rock. There were so many photo opportunities that I will be going back again next year for sure.

Could you have traded a bit of shutter speed for more DOF here?

Love it ... cool bird, fantastic wing and feet position, great detail, and nice 3-D look in the wing feathers!

I'm seeing a bit of a halo along the front of the bird.
I've never seen this species and it might just be my eyes but I also feel like there may be just a hint of a green cast.
