    Default Sabine's Gulls

One of my favorite birds on the tundra. Caught these two in the midst of a communal scream.

You are right....bird is really awesome. Head position couldn't have been better. loved the exposure and the low angle a lot. Like that other gull a lot too. If anything, I'd take a tad off from below. Thx for sharing this beauty. Stunning capture in my book.

Great capture and both with open beaks is special. The one at the back a nice touch.

Good that you got separation on the two gulls. I agree on cropping some off the bottom, but not much.

I like that you got both birds with a calling pose. Other than the comments above I would eliminate/tone down the bright spot above and to the right of the bird in the foreground. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks all. More positive reviews than anticipated, always nice. I replaced the image with a slighted modified one (I know replacement is frowned upon but I've been experimenting with the publish feature in Lightroom 3 and updating images breaks the link to the original image, I'm working on a work-around for this). So I trimmed a bit off the bottom by popular request. Phil, I figured that light patch would annoy someone (bothers me a bit) but I'm a bit too far into the don't manipulate the environment camp to remove it.

    Thanks for the comments
