    Went out on Sunday again, this time they would only stay on the fence post and would not come near the roadkill.
    This was probably the best shot from the batch.
    D3s + 400VR on beanbag, shot from the car

    Camera Nikon D3S
    Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500)
    Aperture f/3.2
    Focal Length 400 mm
    ISO Speed 800
    Exposure Bias +2 EV

    Troy, Your caracara shots have been really nice. I especially like seeing your juveniles against the green BG. If it were mine I might take a small slice off the bottom to tighten up the comp.but that is just a personal preference.:)

    Troy, the IQ on all your images are spectacular. The F3.2 did exactly what you need on the BG. Great work Sir.

    I like the point of entry of the bird into the frame. With the light from the left, you might wish to open up the top of the eye and the bottom of the crown cap a bit.
