I love the layers and soft light here Stu...maybe a touch more sharpening on the bear?

    Stuart,

I like the loose framing and layers in the grass. I would crop some off the top to eliminate the blue/dark green patch upper right (or clone out). Also try the technique I mentioned in my first bear post, select the eyes and run a curves adjustment on them to lighten them - I will also selectively sharpen them as well using the same selection.

    Stiart,

I am a total novice when it comes to bears, and clearly there is a lot of colour variation. The repost is much better, have you the IQ to go for a closer crop?

The crop from the top is much better. The greens (and yellows) look a bit too saturated from here. Love the mouthful of grass.

Stuart - agree with the others that the repost is better. I too love the mouthful of grass.

The new crop really works. Would love to see a tad more room on the left if you have the room. His rump seems a little close to the edge. Colors look good to me. I can only imagine what this image would have looked like had the flowers been blooming. Like the ruffled fur and the grass in the mouth too!

Another great bear image, Stuart! I like the improvements in the repost.
