When I took this picture I thought of all those head angle comments on BPN! I blurred the bg (granite rocks) and cropped square.

A nice, sharp, moderately worn juveniles least. The staring down the lens barrel head angle is perfect for the slightly over the shoulder pose. BKGR is OK. Harsh overhead light is not :) All in all you did well.

Very nice details and I love the pose. The whites on the neck appear a little bright. I might tone down the front of the perch just a little if it were mine. I like this one a lot.:)
The lighting looks like it was harsh but you did a good job with it. I like the sharpness and the crop.
Great Richard- where was the image made? I really like the head-on pose too. For my personal taste I would give a bit more room on top or make canvas if you have to.
I like the pose, but not a fan of square crops.
Just love the angle and detail. Lovely image Richard.
