    I would like to introduce you to Mr. Black; a proud majestic fellow who resides at Crandon Gardens. I painted Mr. Black on his early morning swim with a Nikon D70s using a Nikkor 300mm f/4D. / focal length 620mm using a 1.4T/C and the crop factor of 1.5. / JEPG (8 bit)
    apertue priority / matrix metering / 1/320 sec - f/5.6 / exposure comp set at 0EV / ISO - 250 /
    color mode sRGB / WB set to auto.

    hey, i know that bird ! ! ! nice one, gus. looks like it needs a tad bit of CCW rotation. or maybe my head is screwed on crooked! great BG and nice detail in the bird. the beak may be a bit hot, but not much, i had one similar to this recently and al suggested putting the bird lower in the frame with a little more canvas up top. fortunately i had cropped the pic and did what he said and it worked out great. maybe you could try that here, also.

    Really nice Gus !!!!! Agree with Harold just the CCW and move the bird slightly down Not much wrong with the image

    Excellent shadow deal and good pose Clean water and love those circles On any bird is always nice to be able to see the eye When I select the keepers that is one of the first things I look for !!! Good one Gus Big Congrats on this one !!!!!
