Ken, It does have an abstract look to it as Paul mentioned. I might try to tone down the bright edge if it were mine. The one smaller petal coming out of the LLC is slightly distracting to the flow of the image IMO.

I also find the oof petal a bit distracting and wonder if a crop would be an option and still retain abstract look.

I like the border. It sets it off nicely on the hk bg.

    Hey Ken,
Yeah.....parts I like but the parts Denise, Dave, and Paul mention are distracting to me too. Keep on pluggin' away!

Thanks for the comments. I also felt the petal in the LLC was problematic but I wanted to hear what others would say.

Roman, I'll be pluggin' away for the next week. My wife is out of town which means I can keep my various messy photo setups out and setup without hearing about how messy the house looks. :D

Ken: You are on a roll this summer--producing wonderful images! I love the colors and the white BG, the diagonal lines and the shallow dof. I would try blurring that petal in LLC since a crop would detract from the composition. Thanks for posting a flower--I need the inspiration.

Thanks for the suggestion, Anita. I'm sure that blurring that petal will help.
