I captured this female Cheetah in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, South Africa in Feb this year. She is one of two sisters and by then still with their mother. Mid-day but that is when they're most active.

Nicely framed. Removed RED cast with a 50% Robert O'Toole Average Blur Color Balance ADJ. Then reduced RED SAT and increased YELLOW SAT. Then selectively sharpened the face.

Great image, you've captured it all, the facial expression, the movement with the raised paw and, of course, the tip of the tail. From a color aspect I prefer Artie's repost.
Cheetahs are my favorite of the big cats, I really love this shot! Thanks for sharing
Artie I like what you've done but think I will go somewhere in between with the colours. One gets that reddish quite often in the Kalahari from the red dune reflections and feel its more true to what I witnessed. I value your explanation on what you've done, TAT.
YAW. The final call on color always goes to the creator :)

Great capture, the Cheetah looks a little hungry. The colours on the OP look Ok to me, perhaps a little less red but i am looking at this in IE as I am my office computer.
