Some of you may already have seen a couple of images from my 'Strictly Sanderlings!' series, for which I apologize, but this really is one of my favourites :D. I have posted the original in the pane below. Taken last November at Donna Nook, which is an RAF missile firing range on the coast of Eastern England. Photographers are only allowed there on weekends and it is one of the most important grey seal breeding grounds in Europe (they don't seem to mind the fighter jets :cool:). It is freezing cold there - the wind blows straight from Siberia. There are also many Sanderlings...
