    Hi Everyone,
Some of you may already have seen a couple of images from my 'Strictly Sanderlings!' series, for which I apologize, but this really is one of my favourites :D. I have posted the original in the pane below. Taken last November at Donna Nook, which is an RAF missile firing range on the coast of Eastern England. Photographers are only allowed there on weekends and it is one of the most important grey seal breeding grounds in Europe (they don't seem to mind the fighter jets ). It is freezing cold there - the wind blows straight from Siberia. There are also many Sanderlings...

Nicki, I love your style and your creative vision. The title is equally appealing to me. This one is one of my favorites of yours. Maybe it's the sense of peace that I get when I see this little one alone in a vast field of white-looking as if it hasn't got a care in the world. Nicely done.

Hi Nicki, Nice to see one of your sanderlings make an appearance. Your sanderling images are some of my top favorites of yours. :) They are just so charming! Love the stepping out pose and great high-key look.

Nicki, the base image is beautiful and your HK effect really makes him the star. I love his attitude:)

Excellent composition, Nicki. I love the entire series and this one becomes the new favorite of yours! what I like most about this image is your use of a bigger canvas just as Denise point out. TFS.

Nicki, I'm really liking this one a lot. I like the notion of "big world, small me" in your composition and of course your processing is just wonderful. Very well done.

Nicki, After seeing this, I'm really sad that I missed the rest of the series. I Like Kerry's notion of big world small me. If the rest of the series is anywhere near this, they are all winners.

Indranil, Kerry and Dave, thanks so much for your very kind words. Dave, the rest of the series is on my website in the 'Strictly Sanderlings!' gallery :)
