I see this feather on that little flower , like 3-4 days now , and for 3-4 days beleive it or not , i cant get an image as i want it . I was about to try to day again , and i had the flowers on my hand and the camera in the other hand , when this guy came by him self to eat in front of my lens . Im lucky to have trees across my balcony 1st floor , and get this green BG .
ok i know so clean image .
crop , levels , topaz denoise .
canon 50d , f9 , 1/200 , iso 800 , EF USM IS 100MM MACRO L .
I think this can be a beautiful image, probably because of the colors (I like them). And you got the bee sharp where it counts given the way you photograph this photo. If this were mine, I would try doing some toning here and there and I think this can looks pretty good.
Kostas, I think the base image is fine and as Desmond said, some selective tweaks could make this look great. Lighten up the bee and the flowers and sharpen the bee's eye. There's some nice detail on that bee that isn't showing because it's too dark. The BG is bright and as it is now, the main subject(s) are having a hard time competing with it.
thanks for the advices and the help i have rise up the mid tones a bit in the flowers and the bee , i have also sharpen the a little bit . I hope it looks a little better now . :)
