    Canon 5Dmk2, 70-200mm f2.8lens, handheld. S/speed 1/6s at f20.0, +0.33 comp. Iso 100. Cropped from 21mp to 14mp. Taken 30 July 2010, 16h32. Location Savuti bush camp, Botswana. This lioness was walking steadily in the late afternoon, on an overcast day. I panned with her as she walked by. All C and C welcome. Processed in ACR6.1 and CS5

    Grant, I think you have executed this pan blur really nicely. I like the soft colour and the sense of purpose in the lion. TFS.

    I am big fan of blurr images and this is fantastic. Perfect execution.

    thanks for the comments everybody. I just spent more than three weeks out taking pics in the Delta and the Savuti area, and now have to start processing. We had lots of good sightings, and I took a lot of images. This was one of my favourites.

    Grant,

    I think this one worked out well with a nice capture of the features (especially the face) in motion. I suggest trying two thing. Selectively sharpening the face for one version and then the whole lion for another version.

    I really like this one, Grant. I have a few from that moment, but none turned out anywhere close as this one.
