    Hey Ken,
    yeah...what they do.....but not always with the tail up! I'm fine with this as presented.....but some off the bottom wouldn't kill me either. He's been through a few battles with the tattered wings but that adds to the look. I'm debating if this is over sharpened.....but it has been a long day and the eyes are a bit fried.....so just keep that in mind. Strong comp and nicely isolated against a really nicet BG.

    I don't think it's over sharpened but I do think just a bit more contrast to the low tones so they really anchor the image would take it up another notch. I love the pose and the tail towards the URC. I also think you could lose a little of the stick at the bottom. Really nice DF image, Ken. You've really perfected your angles and exposures in these insect photos this summer!
