Here is a Fractalius image of a Green Heron and Dragonfly. The original was unusable with busy bg (next post). I used Topaz ReMask2 to separate the Heron with dragonfly, partially replaced the bg and then applied Topaz Detail and multiple Fractalius algorithm in different layers. Then used masks on each layer to open up the various elements of the image. Cropped and applied usm for the final image. Hope you like it. Your C&C will be appreciated.

Wow Indranil, amazing vision and PP work - most people (including me...) would have hit the delete button on this one :o I love the sepia tones and the fract works perfectly here. The dragonfly stands out really well and the flash of turquoise takes it over the top for me :)

Congrats Indranil. This is indeed proof that you can make something from nothing. Great work after the fact and before the Fract. Love the dragonfly, the railing, and the sharp eye. My only wish is that the lighter brown border around the heron were either reduced or better yet, absent.

Indranil, I think the DF really makes this image special. I like the fract. effect and agree w/ reducing or evicting the outline. Nice colors tones and nicely done.

Artie, Nicki, Denise, thanks for the feedback. Appreciate it a lot. Here is a repost reducing the lighter border on the back curve...

I like it way, way better. Great work on the improvement. Here's a key to success when doing big time stuff like this: starting with an image with a nice COMP and a proper head angle is pretty much mandatory....

You certainly made lemonade from lemons here, Indranil! Very nice work! Lovely colors and frac work, and the dragonfly is the perfect touch. Repost looks great.

Indranil, the repost is wonderful. I love all of the browns and the little touch of turquoise:)

Excellent work Indranil and the repost rocks! You are doing really well with the fract work and the vision to see an end product. As Artie mentioned, the excellent basic image was a great start - just needed to lose the bg which you did. Very nice!

    Thanks Kerry, Judy.

Judy, I will be more than happy to try those images once I have cleared my backlog of such images :p
