I'm using my EF 70-200mm f/4L IS here. The wind was between 30 and 40-mph. Hence, the higher ISO and S/S than you might expect given the wonderful light and the cooperative subject. Processed with DxO Optics Pro with a slight curve adjustment and a tiny crop for composition.
This is at the summit of Mount Evans, Colorado, just West of Denver. You can literally drive to the summit of this 14,000+ foot peak. This is likely a female mountain goat, given the horns are kind of medium size and last winter's ourter coat is still shedding. The males and females look very similar and I didn't look for this one's "junk."
For a tighter portrait image like this is approaching, I would have preferred the head turned more towards the camera. For an image like the title suggests I agree with the above comment, more the the background is needed to support the looking-away position of the Ram.
Colors (white Ram on the the blue background) are pleasing and correctly balanced. Exposure looks just right.
