    Chas:

Exposure, sharpness, perch and background all very nice. I might consider a very slight crop from the top, perhaps 15-2-% of the free space, but very nice as is. A sliver more room on the left also an option.

    Cheers

    Randy

    Hi Charles,

I like the composition. The vertical presentation works well here in my opinion. I agree with Randy that the exposure and sharpness look good. I also think the head turn displays the bird nicely. The simple background with it's gradation is also pleasing. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Exposure, head angle/turn, sharpness, detail, perch and background all excellent. Composition fine as is, but might consider taking a shade off the top, and leaving a bit more room to our left, the direction to which the bird is turned.

Charles, I like the pose and the beak full of bugs. The gradient BG adds a lot to this image in my opinion. Nice composition but a tiny bit tight for me.(My personal preference)

Charles, I like the pose, exposure and sharpness and another vote for it being tight in the frame.

Thanks for all the comments. The good news is I do have more frame for cropping.

I can only agree with all above positives. Beatiful bird and expertly captured Charles.
