One of my favorite color combination's. I haven't had the opportunity to photograph or post as often as I would like, I've started my own business and have an incredible 10 month old boy at home. But I feel that I need to *make* time to support the community that I helped bring to life. Thank all of you so much for being a part of this.

Blake, It's great to see you posting and again congrats on the new baby. Beautiful complimentary blue BG- it really adds a lot to this image. Sharp, well exposed and killer pose.

Late congratulations on the new addition to the family, Blake.

This capture is gorgeous. It is tack sharp, the light and pose are amazing. The pastel BG works well with your subject.

    Blake:

Nice techs, pose, BG and composition. I generally prefer the head to be free of merge with wing, but the visual separation here is very good, and that is just how spoonies land :)

Congrats on your son. Hope you are getting a bit of sleep.

    Cheers

Good to see you posting images. Blake. Great isolation from the BG and I like the shadow of the extended neck on the far wing.

I like the color combination very much.
The shadow on the wing bothers me ,but difficult to say why, except my eye was drawn to it.

Hey, Blake. Congratulations on the baby. Very nice image - I also like spoonies on blue. Sharp, good exposure and wing detail, and I like the comp. Wing position does not bother me at all.

Certainly as nice a spoonie image as I have ever seen. Love that soft warm light, spread wings, feet down, and to top it off a soft band of color at the top of the frame. Love it!

What can I say, I like everything about it, sharp, great BG and nice pose. Good highlight control and the color combo is nice.

Great image but i think you already know that!

Blake, you should post more often. This is spectacular. The color combo could not have been better. Awesome pose with the wings and stretched legs.
