Another from the previously un-processed Arizona trip images. Cropped for comp. and run through NR for the BG.

Super comp and pose Joe, and love the raised crest. Sure looks like something has attracted his attention.

Joe, I really like the pose and complimentary colors of the background. The Bg is showing some pixelization, maybe from downsizing? I might add a tiny bit more sharpening to the head. Nice looking bird.

Great work, Joe. You captured a great pose and I really like the composition. My only suggestion might be to tone down some of the bright spot attached to the stick. Again, very well done.

Beautiful shot, Joe. I particularly like the lovely background, and the tiny curve at the tip of the bill. A new species for me; I've got to get to Arizona one of these days. Nicely done.

Like the alert pose and whites on chest maintained.
Not sure what is on the perch, but would have tried to get rid of larger lower gob-top one looks too tough to remove especially with the shadow.
Some do not like look back images ,but I think they convey action.

very nice pose, Joe, and agree with many of the compliments above, and as Blake mentioned toning down the bright spot. BTW, great presentation at the monthly meeting by the three of you.

Joe, Fantastic pose and background. Another vote for some more sharpening around the eye.
