    While we were taking a picture of a kit laying on a rocky shelf, we kept hearing a faint barking noise, then this kid peeked up from from in its den and stared at us. Any time one of us would move it would bark. Nikon D. 300 S. 500 mm F4 +1.4 X. tele-converter F8 1/250 of the second manual mode. Adjusted in light room and in Photoshop slight crop from right and left

    22 views and no responses, I am surprised!

    Nice looking creature, but it does appear to need a little more sharpening, and perhaps a little opening up of the fur.

    Myer,

    It looks like a selection on the BG to open up the shadows has created a visible manipulation mark. I suggest refining/feathering the edges more or using a mask. Though you may not be able to see the paws, a bit more room in front for the virtual paws would be good. Nice work capturing the action here. For me, an animal in this position says vertical format to me.
