    Canon 7D
    Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8 @ 150mm
    1/400sec @ f/7.1 ISO 100 HH

    50ish% crop, S/H, sharpening in CS5

    Good point from Peter on DOF. But at the aperture used, your focusing is just right. Though high-contrast I feel it reflects the conditions of his surroundings and works well with the backlighting. You did well keeping detail in the shadows.

    Thanks Peter and Robert. I don't think I could have gotten enough DOF to get the entire lizard without making the BG overly intrusive. For that reason, I just tried to isolate the head and forelegs.
