    Hi Rich - difficult birds in any thing but soft light! Really need a catchlight in the eyes to give them some life - as presented the eyes just look like black holes and have no life.
    There is a thread in the educational resources forum about adding catchlights - might be worth a look.
    Exposure looks OK - good HA'S on most of the birds - yes the HA still applies when you have multiple birds in the shot - except of course with blurs and big numbers of birds.
    Find the 4 light lines in the BG quite distracting (centre of frame) - easy P.S. Fix!!

    Richard, Lance makes some good points. I think you did well getting all 4 birds with relatively good head angles and poses. I feel that the horizon cutting through the birds head is mildly distracting. I would tone down some of the brightest spots on the birds.
