    Captured on the river bank, Rio Coto, Playa Zancudo, Costa Rica

    All PP in ACR 5 except some BG cloning

    iso 400 1/500 f 5.6 Canon 40D

    Not sure that I have ever seen a Marbled Godwit in a tree. Great job with the EXP. A bit tight esp. below where I would love to see the bottom of the perch branch. I like your angle to the subject. The brightest branch llc could go. All in all, well done.

    unfortunately bottom of pic is as is. Crop was very small.
    Was taken from a speedboat which was wobbling lol.Can take out tree llc, unusually majority of BG was indeed black.

    You bad! All that you needed to do was zoom to 350mm. Bigger is not always better. Try not to forget that you have a zoom lens. General advice: when you are having trouble framing with a zoom lens zoom a bit wider :)
