I am fine with the tilting flight of the bird but the horizon needs to be leveled. When you level it you can add some canvas and sky above and crop from below. EXP good. The bird's head is angled away...

The reason I posted the question about tilted shot is that I've been thinking perhaps tilted shots do have their place. If it's a pure landscape shot then I think it's still important if not better to have the horizon horizontal ;) But when it comes to action shots, perhaps titled shots could work sometimes. I was told by somebody sometime ago that most if not all surfing photos were tilted. I went and check and did find that seems to be largely true. I've also noticed tilted shots could work in people photographs, too (either with the right pose or are in action), with or without anything that could reveal the orientation in the background. So, just wondering if fellows here feel the same. :D

YAW. I like my horizons level. In this image I find nothing interesting about the tilted horizon :) I could conceive of it working in some cases and do not wish to be close-minded on the idea....

By the way, I didn't mean this shot to be tilted :o:o
And I also have been the kind of guy who insists that the horizon must be horizontal all the time in a photograph. I'm just starting to think perhaps it doesn't have to be all the time no matter what :D
