    This image was created during a bird banding operation of blue-cheeked bee-eaters,therefore bird hand held.
    The image is of the primary feathers of the bird.
    Not the best image ,but shown for interest only ,in light of "Project Feathers"

    We often see hand held cameras mentioned, not so often hand held birds!

    Like the repeating lines and patterns here. Would prefer to either see more of the rachis in the lower left corner, or none at all.

    Might be interesting to try the image a bit brighter and/or with a bit more contrast.

    Hi Arno, I like your idea, and I like the lines in this. Good detail throughout, with good contrasting colours.
