I don't think I have to tell you where this photo was taken, since you all have seen this subject many times before. ;) I think this is one of my best shots to date of the old barn.

I gave it the "old photo" treatment using three of my own textures and three textures from Shadowhouse Creations, "123109," "Beneath the Surface 2," and "Rubbings." I then color toned it using channel mixer, selective color, hue/saturation, and photo filter layers; and applied an orton effect and blur overlay using box blur.

Christopher, I think we've all fallen in love with your "old barn" the color toning looks nice and the path leading to the barn is well placed within the image. I like the vignetting by the textures and thank you for providing the links. Nicely done.:)

I agree Christopher, this is one of your best! I am especially enjoying the deep focus and the textures. You put a lot of work into this image and it shows. Very well done.

As usual, great job. An "old" look for an old barn. Like the path guiding the eye and the shrubbery, too. All fits together well. Lots of pp work that was well selected.

This barn has gotten a lot of mileage Chris. I don't think I have ever seen it with the path leading up to it. With your trademark vintage style. Very nice.

I have not seen this technique before and it looks fantastic to me. Very nice work of turning a simple image into art.
