    Default Pribilof arctic fox

I just returned from a trip to the Pribilof's St. Paul Island with Alan Murphy and Greg Downing. It was an enjoyable trip with many and nature subjects to photograph. This is an arctic fox of the Pribilof subspecies, which probably reached the island on ice flows many years ago. It used to be hunted for their skins. But now it is located all over the island and in the city. Taken with a Nikon D. 300 S. 500 F4 with a 1.4 X. converter at 700 mm F6 .3 1 1/500 ISO-800
some adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop

Nice sharp picture of this fox. In my opinion is the background a little bit too light. The drop a a nice plus.

Nicely composed image, Myer. Exposure, colours, detail all good. I might consider cloning out the grass below its neck, and possibly in the shoulder region, which draw my attention away from the fox. Like the water droplets. Would love to go to St. Paul some time.

Great capture, of yet anothercreature I have never seen before.

The grass does not bother me as it does not interfere with the subject in anyway, the right eye (left in the image) seems a little "strange" to mee, but I have no idea why.

Composition looks nice. Good mood. Is it a big crop? Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more.
