I took this yesterday morning in one of our local wet lands.
    50D, 100mm f/2.8 macro at f/8, 1/100, EC+1, ISO 400.

Lovely image Dave! Wow, I really like this. I'm undecided about the lighter stalk behind the main ones - especially at the base of the frame. I love the position of the wheat stalk in the frame and the sharpness of the leaves is excellent. Nice overall "feel" to this one.

Thanks Jules, I really appreciate it.

I had debated taking out the bottom part of stalk and decided not because of the part extending up higher.

I had been trying out Liveview so am glad it worked on this one.

    Hey Dave,
Count me as another one who loves this! Simple...elegant.....wery nice look and feel. I onlyhave a recommendation for BPN.....I'm using the vB4 style.....and it gets a touch lost in the BPN BG......thin border will alow it to seperate from the BG and stop the bleed! Just for BPN presentation that's all. Great job on this!

Really nice! I especially like the simplicity and composition. Only suggestion is to clone out the few white spots on the right leaf. I find Live View great for macros. Lovely image.
