Got this a couple of days ago. This is not a pre-diving pose but a part of a display when the duck lifts its body up to an almost upright position and swings its head. I was thrilled to get this beautiful rich green as it shows the beauty of this bird IMO.

    About 75% of full frame

Excellent IQ, nice head angle w/ low perspective, and looks like lighting was good too. There is a minor edge sharpening halo on the lower right of the bird.

Ofer, terrific pose. I think this might be the same behavior that I see Gadwalls doing. Low shooting angle and the light are excellent as always. Fantastic IQ. Thx for sharing.

Beautiful image. I especially like the water droplets radiating from his head.

Great sharp detail and IQ. Like different pose and comp. Subject is well exposed with good natural colours and water drop take it a level up or 2. Well done !

Great pose, colours and contrast. Love the low angle, but feel this one is a bit too centered. I this were mine I would put the bird further to the right of the frame. Otherwise excellent!
