    Another try. The last one had too much motion blur.Pika image created with a Canon 50D and a 100-400 IS @ 400. Exposure was ISO 400 F10.0 @ 1/800th of a sec. in early morning light.

    Hey Chris,
    Cute little guy you got here. The detail looks great and I like the grass in the mouth and his choice of rock.

    Agree, 'cute' little guy Chris.

    Might suggest running some NR over the BG, but more importantly you could have dropped to say F/5.6 which would help to defuse the BG and give you a better SS to reduce any camera shake.

    Nice image of a not-often-seen species! I might smooth out the bg grass a little also but the sharpness on the rodent is good IMO! Good work!

    Like the little guy Chris ... agree with suggestions and could add to keep him out of the center, take some away form right and bottom !!! btw as presented easy to smooth out the grass bg !!!

    nice image! - what I really noticed was how the coloring in the ear complemented the rock! For that reason I would be tempted to crop out some of the grass in the background
