Do you have an image of the Hooptie or Hooptie Deux?
If you do please post it to compare with the Deux's refit.

The new Deux has a much better seating arrangement. This is a case of addition by addition.
By adding more seating, I have extra storage space under them and photographers can keep there camera bags on the seats rather than the floor. The net result is more floor space.

I have also installed a anti-Artie side rail. The railing all the way around the boat is higher.
Artie likes to roam the boat when under power(not recommended), so the higher railing will help keep Artie in the boat should I suddenly come off the throttle.

You can see the progress, in a couple of days she will be sea worthy again!

Sub Amp 750 Watts 6x9 Amp 1150 Watts
4ga hook up wire to the amps, 12ga speaker wire for the 12" Sub and 14ga speaker wire for the 6x9's

Two weeks ago while out on the Hooptie Deux, I cranked the stereo up so I could photograph the ripples it caused in the water.
    I'm not kidding.

How old are you, listening to that music, James? What happened to Perry Como and Lawrence Welk?
Refitting looks good. Where is the bathroom?

James only LOOKS older than I might think. He's actually only 2 years older than I am, but his music is about 30 years younger. I give him credit. I still listen primarily to the '70s.

    James:

I had to laugh at the music thread. Having listened to your 'music' on several occasions, it makes me chuckle.

It is interesting how our boating needs vary. Because I shoot in deeper water, I can't wade to get lower. So my shooting platform has to be as low as I can get it and still stay dry. I try to be as quiet as possible, so trolling motors and slow speeds.

I am working on a submarine, so everything but the lens is below the surface. Not going to wells so far:p, glub, glub.

To those who haven't had the pleasure, I highly recommend a day out with Capt. James, great fun, great photo ops.

    Cheers

    Randy

Since I don't know your plan I am just speculating here. If you are mounting a single fuel tank on board wouldn't it be better on the port side to counter the weight of your passengers and stowage on starboard ?

Looking good. I once had a Grady White that I probably spent more $ on the sound system then I probably did on electronics  . Nothing like riding swells and listening to Grand Funk at 110db.

    Mike,
The new tank is on the port side!

"Grand Funk at 110db." Got to love that!

Here are some Grand Funk lyrics that I can relate with tonight: "I'm your captain, I'm your captain, Though I'm feeling mighty sick."

    Today's update.
The potty goes behind that little door on the starboard side. It has a slide out pop up privacy enclosure!

As Mike mentioned the tank is now on the port side.
