    Default Rainy Day Family Portrait

Took this shot a little while back on a rainy day in Stanley Park here in Vancouver, BC. It's probably my favourite shot I got that day although I was lucky and got many other awesome opportunities too.

I find my favourite time to shoot birds is in the rain now as they're mood is quite different and works well for my type of shooting style.

C&C welcome of course. If you want to see the whole gallery please go here: http://www.millionflame.com/photo/An...StanleyPark01/

    Thanks for looking.

I like the colours and the setting a lot, my only comment really is that I wish the ducks were looking into the picture rather than out of the frame, especially as the parent is leaning slightly and I find the foreground vegetation a little distracting - it needs to be there to create the feeling, but maybe you could have been a bit higher.

Good critique by Graeme. I don't mind the two on the left because of the over the shoulder look, where I can clearly see the profile. The BG is really busy, creating a darker vignetter around the edges of the image may help deal with that. TFS.
