Default Oxbow Bend (GTNP) shrouded in morning fog

I guess better late than never in posting, but I lead a group of 8 photographers from my photography group, MPEG to YNP and GTNP June 4-11, 2010.

The wildlife activity was amazing, some days non-stop....but the landscapes were too bad either.

For those of you who have visited these Parks, you know how magical they are and a joy to visit and photograph.

Here's the famous Oxbow Bend shrouded in morning fog.

    I put together a 100 image, 5 minute slideshow here: http://galloimages.zenfolio.com/
    The slideshow starts up automatically.

The wildlife images were taken with either the Canon 40D/100-400mm Lens or the Canon 7D with the Canon 500 f4 L with and without the 1.4 TC. The Landscapes were taken with the Canon 50D with either the 10-22mm or the 17-55mm f 2.8.

    Thanks for looking!

    Mark

    Hey Mark,
I like the different take with the fog...on this classic view! The weather sure cooperated.

Hi Mark, in the future please note your shooting specs so which could be helpful in our evaluation. Nice, classic image of Oxbow Bend. As Roman stated a different take on it due to the clouds which are masking a good part of the mountain.
Soft, even lighting with a bit of foreground which you were careful not to merge with the reflection. Nicely done!
