Hi Eric, nice head angle and timing. The bird lacks detail and dimension... is this a large crop? Some of the whites look hot, so I suspect this was in midday sun or exposure was on the too bright side.

Great timing and eye contact. The food item mid-air adds to it. Like Dave, I'm wondering if the lack of fine feather detail is due to a large crop or your sharpening technique.
