    Had a chance to get out tonight for a while. Most of the young birds have all fledged and the colony at the local beach is flooded by the high tide so any second nestings are gone/washed away.:( Still was a good year for all the nesting birds.:D
    This Black Back seemed to enjoy it's bath.

    Too cute! Love the splash and spray and the closed eye is just right for this very wet bath.

    Joe, Sad to hear about the second nestings. I love the splash and action you captured. I might tone down some of the bright spots if it were mine. I think you did a great job with the framing.:)

    Joe, its always fun to capture behavioural images - always something different. Just the love the enjoyment we can pick up in the image, and the flying droplets puts this up a notch.

    Joe, loved this one a lot. Very unique.....well seen, executed, composed/cropped. Those drops are awesome. The noise is a little bothersome but it would be very very tough to select the BG without the drops and do NR on it.

    Love the rotating head and splashing moment! Such bathing actions are always interesting to capture.
