Flamingo City

This image is taken in Mumbai, India. A large nos of Lesser flamingo's , few greater & a million waders flock here every year. An absolute paradise, a city within a city.Nikon D70s, Nikon 70-200/2.8 VR @ 70mm, f-2.8, S.s 1/4000, ISO-200.I found handling the pinks quite difficult while processing.Critique & comments welcome.

This is such a wonderful "birdscape". The colors are so complimentary. I love seeing the city faintly in the BG......it adds so much and as Judy Lynn said......"wonderful DOF". I'll bet this image looks stunning in large print.

Thanks to all for their views. Not to mention i was there yet again today & nearly took to Maxis advice. Missed being dunked in the water as our little dugout nearly turned over escaped with a little drenching! :)
