    Howdy,

    Here are the winners.

1st place: Cheryl Slechta: http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?69544 Zoom Blur in Camera - A wild ride

2nd place: Mark Fuge: http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?69738 Blowing Wave

3rd place: Cheryl Slechta: http://www.birdphotographers.net/forums/showthread.php?69836 PP Zoom Blur - Juvi NH

    Congrats to Cheryl and Mark.

And thanks to all who entered. There were lots of excellent images that I loved entered as Weekly Theme that just did not show much if any zoom blurring. My taste for zoom blurs runs to images with lots of radial blurring rather than to those with subtle radial blurring. I think that at some point down the road that it might be a good plan to repeat this theme. When I see color and low light I usually think zoom blur. Even though it is a bit after the fact you may wish to check out my Zoom Blur Basics tutorial in the ER here: Zoom Blur Tutorial.

Later and love and great picture-making, artie

Artie, thank you so much! Your blurs were what inspired me to join BPN so it means a lot to me. Congrats Mark, and to all the participants - there were some really nice images this week as always.:)

Big congrats Cheryl and Mark! Thanks to you Artie for your comments and judging, we really appreciate your presence here. Your zoom blurs are awesome and I think a lot of us are going back to the drawing board...
