Another one from Nickerson (which is getting a workout lately). Had to try out a new camera....1D Mark III 500 mm with 1.4, 1/1000, F8, ISO 400. Thanks to everyone here who takes the time to comment on all of these posts, you all help immeasurably.

Hi Carole - love the low shooting angle and the pose - exposure looks good with the whites in check and nice detail in the blacks.
Feels like it might need just a little CCW rotation and might crop some from the bottom - a little too much negative OOF space down there for my tastes.
    Doing well!!

Hi Carole Can only add you made a mighty fine image, whites look good and lots of shadow detail !! About all I could wish for is wings totally stretched up !! Do like it as presented !!!

Carole, Nickerson is definitely getting a work out. I love the under wing details and the nice stretching pose. I agree w/ Lance regarding a crop from the bottom. You nailed the exposure!:)

All good comments given above with very little for me to add other than I feel the image is well handled with excellent detail and positioning. You caught the subject at an excellent moment...

Thank you all very much for the kind comments. I tried the crop and rotate and I don't know why I didn't see it but it does improve things. Credit for exposure goes to Denise and Roman.....Before their workshop I ALWAYS used AV....go figure.
