The cousin to my other post--you can totally tell the difference in personalities, eh?
Canon XTi, tamron? lens (we don't have anymore), f/11, 1/500, ISO 200. While not as sharp as I'd like, it still catches my nieces true spirit!
I took the image with the camera perpendicular, but this crop seemed to work better? Maybe not? I just wish her arm wasn't blocking her face. . . still, it's the moment I wanted.
Hi Sandra This one is totally fearless and has taken a large leap !!!! Crop wise each seems perfect to me ! This is one tighter and shows action al on the child, the other had a multiple component with lots of concern form parents. ....btw not sure you could have done anything but a better light angle would have lit up the boy!!! Always check histogram see if you can give a little more exposure.. make on test shot before the leap !!!
I like the HORZ approach here and your self-critique. Did you get the splash?

Artie,
Thanks for your feedback, too. I wish I had gotten the splash. If I'd had my 7D then, I would have !
Thanks everyone for your comments. She's a great kid with a lot of gusto for life!
