This image was made on the beach at Rincon de Guayabitos, Mexico last week. The bird was fishing and abruptly struck this preening pose. The image was a bit underexposed and I added contrast with PS. This is a vertical crop from an original horizontal frame.

The pose is very nice. It is quite oversharpened and there is a very distracting sharpening and S/H halo around the legs. It needs a bit CW rotation and I might clone out some of the dark spots in the BG.

Hi Roger Didn't see the exp comp but imagine it was a bit under? Remember to select the bird for S/H Will prevent the halo Better still hail the exposure and won't have to use !!!

Agree with Axel on the over sharpening Do love the pose !!!!

Love the great pose captured in this image and ditto Axel's and Alfred's comments. Thanks for sharing Roger.
