Default First jump from the swim pier

I took this photograph of the very first jump into deep water by my niece, a while back.

Canon EOS Rebel XTi, f/9.0, 1/500, ISO 250, I think it was with a tamron lens we don't have anymore (didn't record in the EXIF)

I cut off some of the dock and the body of the man that helped her jump in--wondering if I cut off too much. . . cropping help in particular appreciated.

I think your cropping is fine Sandra, the hands and the facial expression in the water tells the story.

I like the captured moment and mood and might remove the toe of the man...in the picture. :)

Axel, good eye! Sadly I never noticed his toe. Yes, in the picture :-)

Tells a great story, wouldn't worry about the crop.
