    I like you choice of shutter speed, really brings out the crisp contrasts in the water. A nice sampling of textures brought together in an interesting comp.

    Hi Ian, the way you framed the image IMO gives it an abstract look. Compositionaly it appears to be broken down into 4 areas that seem to work together with the center of interest being the dark area.(because my eye is drawn to it)
    The placement of the black area seems to be handled well along with different textures. Good subject for B&W.

    Hey Ian,
    I agree with the above assesments.......works pretty well as an almost abstract and the B&W works very well with all the shapes and textures. I might prefer it with a bit off the bottom (just above bottom frame edge central splash....but all in all very nicely seen and done and I like the bit of a different take!
