Hi Ricardo, good action along with a story. I love the chick's position and would of preferred the adult to be angling a bit more towards the camera but very acceptable. You have good detail in the darks and whites but noticing by the shadows not the most ideal time of day

Hey Ricardo, although the light isn't ideal, I really enjoy this image. The interaction between the two is great and detail is excellent. TFS

+1 on harsh light - interaction is great - you caught the grab at the right moment.

Very well done in the bright light and an interesting use of ISO1600.

I like the action and very nice timing on the shot.

Great catch at the right moment! :-) What a delightful image! I would agree that you did a great job with the light you had to work with--please share some more. We don't have skimmers in Nebraska :-)

Thank you all for your comments and support. Yes, the light was a challenge but skimmers are too cute not to record their interactions. Sandra, I'll be glad to post other skimmers soon.

Ricardo, a few points have been mentioned, But the interaction and the sharpness are great IMO. Yes better light and lower angle would have improved, but I think it is a pretty good shot.
