    I think it's a scene that has potential...the light and the water set the mood. Composition not conventional either. I'm not sure about the pose of the sandpiper though.

    I love that the reflection clearly shows the rest of the foot that is hidden by the actual bird - lovely...

    Unusual image Reflection shows more than the image itself !!! Would have love seeing this more from the side ... both from the framing point of view and light angle !!!

    Hi Ian, One thing I'm happy to see is your going after the early light making a definate overall improvement. Good exposure with beautiful water and backround. Agree with Al regarding the positioning. Just wished he would of given you a better angle...

    Well, I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks :)

    I'm not a real morning person and, for me to get out to the Riperian Preserve at sunup, requires me to be up at 4 am. Sigh ...

    Anyway, thanks for the comments. Yes, I wish he had angled slightly, but I liked that foot-up posture and grabbed it when I could. I have a bunch more at a better angle, but then the pose isn't as good IMO.
