    Default I can Fly

    I was out birding but saw this Rainbow Trout jumping so thought i would have a go a little more eye would have been nice but you carnt really plan this :)

    Great opportunistic shot well captured Robert, love the tail flick and associated water droplets.
    I wonder if it was being chased? Where was this taken?

    In fact it was chaseing fry, taken at a local pond in the UK .

    Sweet shot Robert !!! Totally nailed this one !!! ... btw with some fish you can anticipate the jump .. have tried but don't have keepers !!!

    Robert,

    I wonder how many shots like this have ever been successful, very few I would think.

    I think that a little off the bottom to take it up to the lighter water may help.

    Great image, I have tried to do this several times but have not succeeded as you have. Encourages me to keep trying.
