    I have had the pleasure to visit Florida last week. I had very little experience in photography down south. WoW! I had never been that close from a heron in my life. Up here in Canada, they are a lot less cooperative. Please let me know your feedback. I am puzzled with the background. The spanish moss adds to the mood but may be distracting. Please let me know.

    Nice light and the BG adds to it. I would sharpen the head a bit more, clone out the two white spots in the lower right and add some space at the bottom for the 'virtual' feet. I look forward to more of your images from Florida.

    HI Rene,

    I like the light. The BG is a little distracting. If you pay close attention to the big tree in the BG, is actually reducing the frame in your image by making it look like a wall in the heron's face.

    very nice shot Rene.. a little more sharpening would help this one., I like the environment a lot., just oof enough to work well.
