    Default Snowy Egret Preening

    This image was made on the beach at Rincon de Guayabitos, Mexico last week. The bird was busy fishing, when suddenly, it struck this preening pose. The image was a bit overexposed so I darkened it a little in PS to bring out the feather detail. This is a vertical crop on a horizontal image.

    Camera: Canon 40D
    Lens: Canon 70-22mm f/4L IS @ 200
    ISO: 200
    Shutter speed: 1/790
    Aperture: f/ 5.6
    no flash
    hand held

    Roger I like the overall pose but the image looks as if it could do with some CW rotation. Also perhaps one of the moderators could move this to the "Avian, Wild & Free Birds" forum.
