boys and girls, this is some of the toughest photography i ever did right here!! a fellow golf course superintendent wanted me to photograph his dog to enter the picture in a calendar contest. so i went over to his course this morning where we took the pup up to a green and let him chase a flag in a circle. where in wildlife being able to establish patterns is necessary for good photography, this little guy would have nothing to do with that and would run in a different spot everytime!!!!!!

D300, 18-200 at 82mm, f/7.1, 1/800s, ISO 400. the use of the nice morning light made post processing quick and painless. not much done really.

thanks for looking. comments much appreciated!

Terrific capture, he looks very amused and you did a great job of catching him off the ground. Congrats!

Even as an icon this one pops off the screen, then when you see it in the large size the expression and hang time are wonderful. You were rewarded for your persistance.
