This is part of a series that I worked on from images that I took of the captive macaws at Butterfly World in South Florida. I ended up with nine very abstract images that I liked. As well as the slow shutter speeds and moving birds, I was also experimenting with camera movement as well. I cropped the pictures to suit my compositional ideas. The whole series can be viewed on my website (if so desired!!) in the 'Look At The Harlequins! portfolio.

Hey Nicki, what I like in this, is how we see the sharp detail in the LRC, and moving through to the ULC where the detail is soft. Great transition. Just love the overall blue hue. Well done.
I remember seeing this one when you were here, you managed quite an interesting series with the macaws. I like your light rendition and the textures.
