Went over to Susan's late yesterday as we are planning a water drop workshop shortly. We love pushing the envelope and were busy doing collisions inside a bubble......when we decided to try and capture the bubble popping. Not perfection.....but I had to leave because Anthony (Susan's husband).....couldn't find my straight jacket! He has also banned all petroleum products as well as most flamables.......he didn't say anything about firearms or ballistics though...:D;)!...shhhhhh
All in camera with minor PP'ing. Canon 1D Mark lll with the Canon 100mm macro, tripod mounted, at f16 for 1.3 sec, and ISO 800 with 2 flashes and gel filters.
This one had the local psych ward on standby!

What I like most about this Roman is that you resisted the crop tool and left the concentric circles. They really add interest to the image IMO. Fantastic collision and lovely colors. You and Susan should have a great workshop!!!

Roman, I think this is fantastic. Colors are great and I especially like the reflected lines - it almost looks like an eye with eyelashes:D

Aside from the colours and the splash which are VG (as usual), the water looks really sharp. Wish I lived in NJ, would be a ton of fun.

    Hey All,
    Thanks for the kind words!
Ok.....if you look at the ring around the collision.....that is the remnants of a bubble....yes the kind you blow as a kid! I had posted one sometime earlier with the colision inside the bubble...so if you look at the far edge.....that is what is left when the bubble pops.... (captured the last bit)......working on getting it when it first pops......let's just say we had a bunch of attempts.....3 succeses.....2 Susan Candelario has......but we want the wall of the bubble fuller!....hence the straight jacket!.......We are dealing in thousanths of a millisecond.......variables are insane!

    Hey Roman,
This a fun insanity. Very cool. Really like the colors on this one and the edge of the bubble burst on the top. How about next... 3 collisions inside a bubble bursting in the middle all around? BTW he found the jacket just not sure who will be get to wear it first and I convinced him to lift the ban. :D

Roman, this is sick. You need to seek professional help immediately... :D Truly amazing! The two small bubbles (on the left and right of the outer ring) have diffraction patterns on them   . Super image. Don't know what else to say!
