    Here is the 3rd Osprey from the day out Sunday. The +1EV was to much and blew out the white under parts so I tried my best to rescue them in LR 3. C&C Welcome.

    A700+Sigma 120-400 @ 400m
    1/1000, f 5.6, ISO 400, +1EV

    Nice landing shot, Jeff. Some whites do look blown, and light a bit harsh. I would like to see a bit more canvas to our right, which would be easy to accomplish, given a fairly uniform background. The bottom right branches would, however, be slightly more difficult to bring into the added canvas, but you might consider removing them, leaving only the left cluster for the osprey to land in.

    Thanks Jory. Since this is a crop I can easily add more space to the right. I will try it out. Thanks again.

    I think you should try to work in manual mode,rather than plating with the compensation in Av. At least, while the bird in under the same light, you won't have to change the compensations.
